'Travelogics is a sequence of distorted hotel reviews and ready-made textual units. Written according to particular procedures and constraints, the only material to be utilised in the text are one-star hotel reviews of London hotels and select/rare/archaic/technical words culled from the dictionary. The result is a disorienting hybrid of hotel review and linguistic manual in which words are utilised as raw material to capture and heighten the state of information overload that characterises contemporary life'
